I fished fly creek for the second time ever on tuesday for about 2 hours. (12:30-2:30PM). I didn't think much of this Yellowstone tributary the 1st time
I went there and was hoping this little creek would redeem itself after my last skunking. I fished chicken liver off the backside of the overhanging olive
tree you see behind me. He picked my bait up and swam it downstream like 10 feet before I committed to a hook set. No pull on the rod tip, just carried the
bait downstream. This fish looks like a torpedo-super short, thick, and powerful. She broke the magical 10 lbs. mark at an official weight on my digital of
10.1 lbs. I was by myself and the fish ended up acquiring some camoflauge in the process of setting my camer for a timer shot. Going back out again 2night
to try for a bigger one!!!! Tight lines.
