Went out on the Stone on Saturday night with Lord of the Kittyfish and braved the weather and lightning and caught some nice cats. Nice and high and full of
hostile fish. First spot, first cast, first cat within 2 minutes of anchoring, about 7 lbs. Soon after Lord hooked another nice one about 5 lbs. Caught a
few more good size eating ones (2-4 lbs'ers) in the first spot then continued up stream to the night time slaughtering hole. Anchored about 40yds upstream
from the hole to shore to get out of the wind and to be tied down in case of a bad storm. Really slow at first for bites with lots of fish jumping and big
cats rolling under of f the bank under some olive branch cover. Finally around 10 P.M. all hell broke loose. First big one we caught tried stealing my rod
out of the rod holder and weighed in at about 13lbs which ended up being our big one for the night. Next Lord hooked one about 11 lbs. While fighting this
fish he almost lost his rod when he was holding it, the fish almost pulled in under with the help of the current we were on the shoulder of. Good fishing all
night about 5 big fish an hour all ranging from 8lbs to the big 13. Fished til about 1 and called it a night and floated back stream to the truck. Enjoy and
good fishing to everyone. P.S. Need to get more of you guys out at night on the stone. The water is perfect, the higher the better!
