I really don't care what you guys do but 6 rods per person is a little excessive. I think 2 rods per person is perfect but that's just me. I won't
be fishing it this year.

I think 2 poles per person is good. How do you run 12 poles out of a boat anyway??Sounds like a wreck.

12 rods is the legal amount no need to complcate thing with more rules.

No doubt that is legal. Its just that every fishing tournament in the country goes with two rods per person. Whatever the case though.. I am sure it would be
fun little tourney.

See that what I like to see, some input on something like this. Would people be more apt to fish it with 2 rods per person per team? Your right running 6 per
person can be tough if the bite is on. However its nothing like setlines, your in control of the poles since your fishing right there, I have never tried to
run more then my two out of the boat. Is there enough interest on the forum for this to happen? 30 people would make a small tournament, kind of fun I
think.

Here's a picture of the catfishing special (RiverPro) in action. We probably could have fit two more rods out the front but we basically would have been
dropping those lines right under the boat. 6 rods per person would be an absolute mess. I can't imagine having 12 rods in the boat let alone putting them
all in the water. There's a point where too many rods becomes counterproductive and more of a hassle than it's worth.

I might have to get two more rod holders to compete with the river pro. I'm set up for trolling. Like that set-up, could fish both sides of a smaller
river well anchored up. I haven't had much luck anchored up on the mo, just pull up on bank and spread the rods out. Less current to fight the fish back
up to the boat.

Are the weeds bad at the Fred in July?

Some years you get some moss, last year seemed to produce moss. Its weird down there it doesn't get it bad like up form the bridge.

They haven't been in the past. Might just depend on were a guys fishes I guess. I haven't had much moss or weed build up, little moss at times.

Well folks, I won't be doing this due to my personal life. Buying a home, and will close around that time. Maybe next year.. maybe someone else can take this over and still get it done. Aug? |
