We won't be making it over this year. I drug my feet for too long.. and missed getting my entry in before it filled up. I will be back next year! Good Luck

Me, Cat Ash and my buddy Stacy are in the tourney. I hit alot of river yesterday and fishing was really tough and I got skunked without even a bite at all the
places but I finally found fish at my last spot and caught lots of slot fish and a 5 14. Im liking fishing is tough and I found them! Im probably more
confident then I have ever been! Wish us luck!

Braving the hot weather and tick infested banks, fisherman did pretty good with lots of limits of fish coming in and very close weights! We had our limit
by 930 am and just had to upgrade all day! We continued to upgrade the fish till we had three at the top of the slot between 17 and 18". I was running
another upgrade back to the cooler when I noticed one fish looked alot bigger than the rest so i decided to check it again. Sure enough somehow we measured
the fish wrong and it was over 18 by a hair. We were then forced to catch a fish in the last hour after throwing fish back all day. We ended up catching a
fish but only 13"! That sucks! Oh well we could only hope it would put us in the money. Well it wasnt enough and we ended up falling out of the money but
we did meet my goal of 5 lbs with 5.165! Heres the top 6!

Nice job Steve. Heartbreaker on that fish......slot rules suck. Did you get lots of interest for your tourney??

No clue my actual place they didnt figure anything out past 6! There was lots of interest in the tourney. They actually made an announcement for my tourney
when it was done and let me put entry forms at the beer table and hang a couple signs. The guy who ran it is also taking a few signs up to Glendive with him
and hanging them when he goes to get his down! They couldnt have been more cooperative! I had 4 phone calls yesterday on the tourney so things should fill
fast now Im guessing. The bad thing is everybody thinks we are done taking entrys because the entry form says they have to be in by May 30th! Brady said
he'll fix it when he gets back! Three of the four calls yesterday were asking if I would take late entrys! That sux! You know there are some people that
arnt going to call and just not enter. It doesnt sound like I'll have any trouble filling anyway so hopefully it all turns out.

Yeah, I have radio advertising starting next week and going til the tourney. That should help alot!

Nice job on the radio advertising! That should really help out. I am hoping you can get 25-30 teams this first year. Anything more than that.. would just be
awesome!!
You must have took at least top 10 in the Savage out of 60 teams. Thats a great showing. |
